I agree Peanut, this was the McCain that was well liked in 2000, the one the Bush supporters Swift boated. I was wondering if we'd ever see him again. I hope he truly is back and willing to help.

Gee Beav, I'm a gun owner too, have been all my life. I have never been able to buy into the myth that "the dems are gonna take our guns!!" Just how much "wealth" are you talking here by the way?

You know I'm getting sick of this crap. I can understand sour grapes, boy did it feel aweful when Bush was actually re-elected. I remember being online the day after and the perverse glee a lot of his supporters had in typing 4 MORE YEARS repeatedly and JEB BUSH 08.

Yep Colleen, it's ok for an American to express feeling less than proud of his or her country, that's what sets us above the rest, the right to say so, to question, to demand change.

That's the way to succeed Stu. Suppress, intimidate, and deride anyone who thinks about being fair and optimistic. You say "For the first time in my life I am not proud of my country.", but I have to wonder if there ever really was a time when you did take pride in your country.

You know, if I believe the Republicans were the "hard work" party I'd be a Republican. I think we share the same frustration with working hard and getting the shaft, but we seem to have a difference in who we feel is working against us. By the way, I am neither Republican nor Democrat.
